Writing and thinking about an artful life are as important as the act of art-making itself, at least for me.

I have kept an online journal of sorts in the form of a blog since 2007. While this blog has shape-shifted over the years and seen a number of platforms, I’ve managed to keep this practice up with regularity.

Below you will find access to a free monthly Substack newsletter where once a month I post a bit about what’s been happening, and possibly opportunities for upcoming workshop and other such news.

More in-depth and behind the scenes is my Patreon page. Here you can access the more heartfelt and vulnerable blog posts that feature partially finished work, what I am thinking about in general, and news from the home front. Access to the Patreon page is yours for a minimum of a dollar a month, and this helps me keep the lights on.

The third portal to my writing is the “archives”, a collection of blog posts from over the years, including the posts from all those years ago just after art school.
