The Road
Just now, under a sky shaped like water, we careen westward to Evansville to catch a concert of Jack’s.
As Joni put it, I’ve got the urge for going. So ready to leave for the light and color of Antigua but that isn’t for a few more days. And so, I patiently brave the endless gray and brown of the season here and opt for the color and light of my loved ones. There is snow on the way and we hope to make it to Evansville before it begins. Folks in this region can’t handle a bit of winter weather. Sadly.
There is a gentle beauty to this time of year here but I’m ready for the excitement of a different language and a bit more sparkle to the light.
More in the days to come. You’ll be the first to see new work and all the beautiful experiments happening on the Antigua trip.
til then! Stay warm. Stay well.
