There is simply no better way to capture a place, an idea, a person or animal than with a drawing in your sketchbook. I keep an active sketchbook myself and teach classes on the process of keeping an Illuminated Diary. Classes can be found locally in Cincinnati at the Art Academy during the fall time frame as well as individually/ or in small groups year round with me in the studio and out and around town. Contact me for details!
I also lead travel-journaling workshops! These trips are are exciting opportunities to travel to amazing places and gather the essence of place into your sketchbook. Trips to Taos New Mexico and to Northwestern Ireland are currently available for 2013!!!
